The yarn for this rug was spun at Wool Stone Craft from local Blue Faced Leicester sheep wool using a technique that created a boucle yarn. The yarn was then woven into a rug using a 150-year-old loom at Wool Stone Craft. The joy of this rug comes from its softness. I would not hesitate to use it as a lap throw or added weight on a cold winter night. I can imagine it in a sleigh providing warmth to the riders. This rug measures 32” x 47”.
