About

Wool Stone Craft is a small shop in Washburn, Wisconsin, devoted to fiber, tools, books, and the practice of making.

The shop brings together materials for knitting, weaving, spinning, and handwork, alongside new and used books, local and regional goods, and space for learning. Some things are finished. Many things are in process.

Wool Stone Craft is shaped by a belief in skill, patience, and materials that reward time and attention. It is a place for beginners and experienced makers alike, for curiosity, study, and quiet work.

The shop is independently owned and rooted in place, drawing inspiration from the natural landscape, historical craft traditions, and the ongoing work of people who make things by hand.
