Introduction to Crochet
Yarn Over. Insert Hook. Pull through. Add a hook and some yarn and you have all the ingredients you need to learn how to crochet!
Join Megan from MCFiberArts at Wool Stone Craft to get an introduction to the art of croc het, from starting a project with a row of chain stitch, to building on that foundation row with single and double crochet stitches and fastening off to make a coaster. You will also receive a pamphlet covering other stitches you can use to create beautiful works of fiber art.

Introduction to Nalbinding
(Ancient Needle Binding)
Create Fabric using a single needle and short lengths of yarn, a technique that predates knitting and crochet!
Found in Scandinavia, the Middle East, Egypt, Peru, and central Asia, this method of creating textiles links the maker back to textile makers from over 1,500 years ago.
You will use a flat wooden needle and short lengths of yarn to learn a technique that is older than knitting and crochet. Nalbinding creates a thick, durable fabric that does not unravel. Students will learn how to create a circle which is the foundation for a hat.

Introduction to Knitting and Purling
Learn to knit and purl over the course of two weekends!
Perfect for absolute beginners. In the class you will learn to cast on, the knit stitch, cast off, and finish a small project (mug rug). The next weekend, students will return and learn the purl stitch and how to put the two stitches together to create ribbing. Once you master these two stitches, look out, all the patterns are open to you!

Learn to create your own yarn using a drop spindle
Tap into a skill that is millennia old! Discover the quiet magic of spinning your own yarn.
In this class you will learn about drafting wool for spinning, twist control, park and draft techniques, and spin your first yarn! You will leave understanding not just how to spin, but why yarn behaves the way it does.
Be prepared to make uneven and creative yarn at first.

Needle Felted Fox
Learn to make your own adorable needle felted fox.
Learn how to create three-dimensional critters using barbed needles and some wool.

Needle Felted Landscape
Have you always wanted to paint by stabbing wool? Yes? then this class is for you! Students will create their own needle felted painting based on a simple image of their choosing.
*Please share the image with Keldi before the class!
You will learn about blending wool, perspective and creating dimension all while trying not to stab oneself with a sharp instrument. The adventure is endless!

Project ER: Office Hours

Ack! Where was I? How did I get here? Why do I have 3 needles, strange stitches, holes, a sock that is not socking, or a sweater with one sleeve? What do I do now?
Project ER is an open, supportive troubleshooting circle where we untangle problems together. whether you are stuck mid-pattern or simply unsure what went wrong, this is a space to pause, assess, and get back on track.
No lectures, no pressure, just practical help. Because sometimes yarn needs a calm room and another set of eyes.
Format: Drop-in. Bring your project, pattern, and any relevant tools (supplies are also available at Wool Stone Craft.
Maker’s Night
Join Wool Stone Craft for Maker’s Night on Monday evenings at the shop.
